Our Christmas Faves

1. Yes, you've most likely seen it before, but there is nothing to make you laugh like the Indian 12 days of Christmas.

2. It's the sweet and smooth voice of Dido singing her own take on Christmas. The song is 'Christmas Day'

3. It's the 12 days of YouTube with Norah Jones and Jimmy Kimmel.

4. On the great big world of Flickr it's been done many times but it's still just as merry! We're talking about these cliché Christmas lights! (photo credits: 1. Samantha Nina's photostream 2. Oh what an international Christmas collection of joys! Have fun and Merry Christmas!

hcob halloween: Jeremy Messersmith

It's rare that we add music to the blog and we've noticed that is such a flaw, because people can gather so much inspiration to music right? So anyway, when we stumbled across this cute music video by Jeremy Messersmith, we were in love with its Halloween theme and decided it was perfect for our hcob Halloween special. Enjoy! And his website is here if you want it http://www.jeremymessersmith.com/
Halloween fact no. 2: The ancient Celts thought that spirits and ghosts roamed the countryside on Halloween night. They began wearing masks and costumes to avoid being recognized as human.

Bat for Lashes

This is illustration done by Veronica Navarro, is of a British singer from Bat for Lashes. Her music and native american fashion style is constant inspiration for many artists including myself. I have seen many photographs inspired by her work as well.
